With more than 15 years of extensive experience in the Defense & Aerospace industry, Mehdi Bouchenak joined Safran in 2006 as the Middle East Regional Director, overseeing the Helicopter Engines – Support Division. His leadership skills and industry knowledge led to his appointment as the General Manager of SAFRAN Middle East and Group Regional General Delegate based in UAE (Abu Dhabi) in October 2022. Prior to his role at Safran, Mehdi held senior positions at renowned organizations such as Thales Defense & Security, Avisa Partners in France, as well as serving as the Chief Operating Officer at ITQAN Technologies in Qatar. He had also embarked on an entrepreneurial journey by founding Keawell Associates in 2007, a Consulting Firm dedicated to Business Development. Mehdi holds a Master's Degree in Economics from Paris Dauphine University PSL and a Master's Degree in Defense & Industrial Dynamics from Paris Panthéon-Assas University. Additionally, Mehdi's academic pursuits include a PhD Research Fellow Program at the National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS) in Economic Science.Sessions
