Kailash Krishnaswamy is Senior Vice President of Aftermarket for Spirit AeroSystems. Krishnaswamy has P and L responsibility for the reported segment including strategic growth and operations.

In his eight years with Spirit, Krishnaswamy has led Mergers and Acquisitions (seven deals), Investor Relations, and Business Development in China. He was also the CEO of Spirit’s Joint Venture in China.

Krishnaswamy joined Spirit from United Technologies Corp. (UTC) where he was a senior director in corporate M&A. In that role, he was responsible for companywide business and financial strategies including digital transformation, additive manufacturing, capital markets alternatives, divestitures and M and A which included the sale of Sikorsky.

Prior to UTC, Krishnaswamy held investment banking positions at Credit Suisse, where he developed and executed M and A transactions in the aerospace and defense sector. Krishnaswamy began his professional career at Honeywell Aerospace providing technology strategy, competitive intelligence, intellectual property and innovation portfolio expertise to internal R and D teams.

Krishnaswamy has an MBA (Honors) from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and a Ph.D. (fellow) in mechanical control systems from the University of Minnesota. Krishnaswamy is a graduate of the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, India.
