Didier Verté has a degree in mechanical engineering from University of Brussels and a master’s degree from the Von Karman Institute for Fluid Dynamics.
He started his career in design engineering on engines at Snecma, which now is Safran, and joined Air France in 1990 in propulsion engineering department.
At Air France, he has held several positions in both technical and commercial fields including head of propulsion engineering, head of third-party sales support for engines, CEO of an engine repair shop in the Miami area and VP technical sales for Middle East& Africa.
His current assignment at Air France Industries & KLM Engineering and Maintenance is VP Customer Business for airframe components in charge of promoting third party MRO activity and supporting both the sales organization and the various business units to provide the best product on the market to the current and future customers
