Jeff was appointed CEO DAE Engineering in OCT. 2017, with the mandate to grow the Engineering division of Dubai Aerospace Enterprise into a leading Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul group comprising multiple regional base maintenance facilities - predominantly specializing in Airframe maintenance and conversions, with the potential to develop further into component maintenance and aircraft appearance disciplines.
From the outset, Jeff was (seconded to Amman Jordan as CEO Joramco – the first DAE owned engineering company and a large commercial aircraft MRO, offering a wide range of maintenance services for various aircraft types. Jeff’s mandate was to lead, develop and re-energize the company, including an immediate change to its strategic direction to accelerate their business growth. Jeff transformed Joramco from a 2nd Tier MRO into a globally recognizable leading aircraft maintenance and engineering solutions company with a state-of-the-art facility and Tier 1 customer client base with up to 12 National Flag Carriers simultaneously including added fleet types - B787, B777, B737 Max, A320Neo, whilst tripling the company’s revenue in the last 6 years - within the same footprint.
Prior to joining DAE and Joramco, Jeff held two roles in Etihad Aviation Group. Jeff joined Etihad Airways in 2007 (with a fleet of 17 aircraft) and grew the Technical Division to support a total fleet of 125 aircraft with an insourced Technical Operations team where he held the role of Senior Vice President Technical (Post Holder).
