Good technical authorship is essential for safety and continued airworthiness, and ‘TechPubs’ deserves a higher profile within the big picture. As in most areas of aviation, comprehensive and applicable training of technical authors (and engineers) is urgently needed. With different documentation procedures the implementation of the cultural change that follows should not be underestimated. There needs to be a heightened awareness throughout the aerospace sector.  ​
